Hay, Kenneth. We still on? Hundred bucks Ricochet rules?

Re: Don't Forget to Place Your Bets
I'm embarrassingly prosaic. 67 house, 8 senate. See, if we had money on this, I'd study the odds and strategies of tournament play (in which, as in politics, it sucks to be in the middle) So mainly playing reputational defence here.

I still say that the logo looks a lot like the Democrats' "circle D" logo of the same color.

Ricochet needs its own Cola.

Dammit, Duane. Since I'm dressed as Vicomte de Valmont, I challenge you to a duel to uphold the honour of a lady. Preferably in snow, which really catches the crimson spray in dramatic fashion.

Sad to say I did think "Scarlet Pimpernel" when I first saw your sartorial flourish.

I'm glad you started this thread because it gives me a chance to go down a tangent and say that I'm watching your talk at the Heritage Foundation back in August. I'm already enjoying it.

That's a new one, Crookshanks. I was down to Lestat, Valmont and Gilderoy Lockhart. Sir Percy is a new option. It's a costume open to all manner of interpretation. Nuance.

Bizarrely, Felicia Felicis and I chatted not too long ago. It devolved into "they seek him here" "they seek him there" kind of stuff.
So you're not alone.

Kennedy speaks truth. I was hassling him about being a daaaandy. And I don't think it's a costume, BTW. Methinks it's his daywear.
I also went ahead and prognosticated. I really hate doing that because I don't ever want to be wrong. But alas, I decided that it was better to be wrong than to be left out of the party.

Your insolence has been duly noted and will be reported to the polling authorities on election day.

Re: Don't Forget to Place Your Bets
Actually, I think that Kennedy may well be the Ricochet nom de plume of Iowahawk. Don't you get that vibe at times?
OK, where and when am I supposed to pretend to know how to fence in order to satisfy our latter-day Aaron Burr? Maybe I could visit my old HS buddy at Red Cross Chattanooga and then put on my blue tunic to stop and battle Kennedy.
