Via The Daily Caller:

There are now more than a dozen House Democrats – the list is at 14 and growing by the day – who want to fire Speaker Nancy Pelosi if their party somehow manages to keep its majority on Nov. 2....The vanguard of outright Pelosi opponents includes Jim Marshall of Georgia, who has even run TV ads against the Speaker, Gene Taylor of Mississippi, Mike McIntyre of North Carolina, Peter DeFazio of Oregon, and Bobby Bright of Alabama.

Here's Jim Marshall's ad.

"Georgia is a long way from San Francisco and Jim Marshall is a long way from Nancy Pelosi."

I wonder how many votes he'll get from people that think he is a Republican?

Diane Ellis, Ed.

This reeks of desperation to me. Please vote for me! I don't like Pelosi either!

Emily Esfahani Smith, Ed.

That's a good point, Trace. I heard an interesting statistic yesterday: around 40 of likely voters haven't heard of the tea party or don't know enough about it to make any sort of judgement call on it. It gives you a sense of the average person's political involvement and awareness.

If, God forbid, the Dems retain control of the house, Pelosi will run again for speaker (no matter what kind of disinformation the Dem myrmidons are spreading today) and guys like Marshall will vote for her.

Healthcare and the Stupaks of the Dems proved when it's time to whip the vote, EVERY Dem will cave as required. NOT ONE will stand up to the party. A fortunate few whose votes aren't needed will be suffered to not walk the plank for Captain Nancy. .

Pelosi's going to have an epic meltdown that all the medication in her bulging handbag won't be able to control. She's done. Her hubris is meeting Nemesis.

San Francisco is not mainstream America, thank heaven.

There's a really nasty race in Michigan's 7th congressional district. Mark Schauer is the dem incumbent running against Tim Walberg who was kicked out of office in 2008. One of the newest leftie group attack ads ostentatiously refers to Walberg (who's not in office) as Congressman Walberg.
