Yes, it's a gleeful -- and accurate -- hit piece on Obama. But I think the RNC buried the lede here. That bill of accusations from Romney was devastating and perhaps the most effective piece of face-to-face campaigning I've ever seen, from any candidate, including two of the best, Reagan and Clinton. Romney just fillets the guy.
A couple of days ago, Brother Robinson suggested that Mitt needs to show indignation. I suggested that Mitt needed to taste a little blood.
Mitt did us both one better: when he takes apart the sorry performance of the president, he does so with enough of both -- but he's also clearly speaking from the heart. Mitt means this.
Okay, okay: I need to lie down. I'm starting to get not totally un-optimistic.
