I'm inclined to go with the latter!

Out today is my interview with Ricochet's own - the Isolde of Istanbul - Claire Berlinski.  We talked about her book, There Is No Alternative: Why Margaret Thatcher Matters, her unique professional career, and what life in Turkey is like.

Anyone not subscribing and listening to RJ Moeller's show is missing a great and informative time. Looking forward to this one and hope it explains why the heck Claire continues to live in a place with a regime that may throw her in prison for her writings at any time.

Thanks TP! Really appreciate the kind words. We've been lucky to land some incredible guests, and Claire Berlinski is no exception!

Shouldn't the title be "Great Guest or Greatest Guest?"   Look forward to hearing this show.  Thanks.

It's like I've written before: there's no reason for Claire Berlinski to write novels because her life is a novel. Great podcast, R.J.

Glad you enjoyed it Leslie and Percival. I'm hoping to have Michael Barone on in a week or so. But honestly, I'd love to talk to Claire Berlinski every week for my show! Claire's Corner we could call it. :)

If Claire is reading this, it was nice to hear that she enjoyed her time at Santa Clara University. Happens to be my alma mater.

I loved some of the kids I taught, and still stay in touch with one or two. Mind you, I was a kid myself when I was teaching them. I was hoping they wouldn't notice.

Thanks for all the nice comments, everyone.

I guess I will have to listen to the interview. As for Santa Clara, I'm curious what you studied Dave Molinari, as I hear tell that their theology programs graduate some people with some -- how shall I put it? -- less than solidly orthodox views.
