It seems that Pat Sajak isn't the only television host with sound politics:

That's just awesome!  And it also stars one of my state's most notable politicians - how can you beat that?

The ability to pay over your tax bill has always been available.  I wonder how many people have ever used it?  I haven't heard of Matt Damon cutting that check.

It kills me that Warren Buffet, a man whose company stock has not (yet) paid any dividends, and whose initial acquisitions were in companies that were up on the block because of estate taxes at pennies on the dollar, would have the brass to whine about his taxes being too low.

Oh, and just today, G.E. has just announced that it is buying back the preferred stock that Buffett bought during the financial crisis.  Ol' Warren is going to make about $1.2 billion on the deal.

He'll be coughing all that up.  Yup.  Because that's the way he rolls.

I once heard an interview with Pat when he was asked a question about another game show host and he just meandered into a fable about how, actually, all game show hosts lived together, thought the same way, and knew each other initmately.  Eventually, the questioner caught on that he was kidding.

He may have lived with Chuck, though.

I am not one of his expert panel, but I heartily endorse Woolery and Sajak.

My favorite part of Obama's latest jobs speech before Congress (transcript provided by Politico with audience reaction):

"Right now, Warren Buffett pays a lower tax rate than his secretary -- an outrage he has asked us to fix." (Laughter.)

That Obama...what a card...he kills me.

I like Woolery's humorous ironic delivery. I think the Adolescent Left (thanks, Dr. Rahe) is truly vulnerable right now to smart, humorous jabs like this.
