Charleston Ricochet FSU Clemson Alabama Arkansas Wings Half-Shirts
I was born in a crossfire hurricane.
Charleston is an 11 out of 10, but with Rob Long in town it is a 12. If Diane E. had been here it would have been a 14. We were 7 Ricoshayans strong and between the wings and FSU fans and screeches from the Clemson faithful, you would hardly know that Alabama-Arkansas were playing.
The Southern Pessimist and Wylee were full of energy and Rob was really patient with all of our opinions and questions. The King Street Grille was packed and we were in a perfect people-watching and chatting position.
Bud Lights and references to Albania helped ease the pain of Rick Perry's debate faux pas's while I was happy to see Herman Cain win FLA, y'all. I said again that passion is what is missing in Perry's debates. Herm exuded that in Orlando. I met him in the airport in STL. He put his arm around me and said "thank you". I could get behind a Cain-Perry ticket.
I can live without oxygen, but I can't live without Peter Robinson saying "Outrageous" or Lileks worrying about the "how to" instructions on whatever it is he just bought off of Craigslist or the sprinkler knocking on his door. It was a good afternoon and an example of just how far Ricochet has fallen. Rob, we would love to have you back.
