I tried my best to think of something funny to say about this article, but I think the author has already managed to milk every last microgram of irony from the subject.

I agree the article is full of irony. However, I think the author missed one bit of irony.
The Colorado "bud" business took off "after President Obama announced that federal law enforcement officials wouldn’t trouble users and suppliers as long as they complied with state law."
When it comes to marijuana, a Class I Controlled Substance along with LSD and heroin, our President respects state law. When it comes to state law in Arizona that lines up directly with Federal law, the administration prepares a lawsuit. Ironic, no?
