1) Surrogate Hilary Rosen accidentally firebombed the entire "War on Women" meme that was supposed to be used daily to bash any and all conservatives in a desperate bid for the votes of women.

2) This:

3) And the campaign sent out an email mocking Mitt Romney for not marking the 6th anniversary of Romneycare, then called Romney the "godfather" of Obamacare. What is it supposed to mean that Romney didn't mark the anniversary? Is it good or bad? It was only a few weeks ago that Obama didn't mark Obamacare's 2nd anniversary. I never went to communications school but bashing Romneycare as an albatross while in the same breath tying it to the president's signature policy achievement seems a bit muddled.

#2 is hilarious. Combined with two other videos (from "Fox mole" and another one about Romney posted - methinks - on Obama campaign site) you really start wondering... What is Obama's best argument for reelection? As much as I don't want to underestimate the adversary, this looks like a campaign in disarray.

And I just saw Chris Hahn, making the argument (seems like for 20th time in last few weeks) that the voters will blame Bush that brought the "worst recession since Great Depression" rather than Obama who is doing something "good about getting us out of whatever Republicans brought us into". Say what?

All in all, I am getting cautiously more optimistic

As Deep Throat said to Woodward, don't believe the hype -- these guys aren't that smart.

Hahn may well be correct about that.  Four years in, the American people still blame Bush, and by extension the Republican Party, more than Obama for the bad economy. Last time I looked, it was by a fairly substantial margin.

Mollie,

What hallucinogen is Axelrod on?  Oh, I see, he didn't mean to say middle class.  He meant to say parasitic class.  Yes..of course..a new growing parasitic class.

Now it all makes sense.

Regards,

Jim

# 3 is incomprehensible.  The landmark achievement that Obama was touting so proudly (before it was even passed by the "strong majority") was Obamacare - if that's not his biggest accomplishment, then what is?  And he doesn't mark the anniversary, but his campaign trashes Romney for failing to mark Romney care?

Note to Axelrod, et al:  You need a bigger clown car.  The one you're using is full.

There are many more terrible weeks in the Obama campaign's future.  Even without Obama's terrible record, Romney is vastly more intelligent and competent.

Let us pray he has many more bad weeks. As Dick Cheney said, he has been an unmitigated disaster as President. It amazes me that anyone does not realize it.

Mollie, et al. Are we truly looking at a campaign where the presidential incumbent runs on a message  that it could have been worse?  This message may play in polling.  I can't imagine it playing itself out in secret ballot.

Not a good week?  Obama has become the new Rodney Dangerfield ... David Axelrod just endorsed Mitt Romney ... when your own campaign manager says it's time for a change ... talk about no respect.

May Mr Obama have many more worse weeks - yes, he can!

The campaign will get Axelrod squared away. Two or three coaching sessions with Joltin' Joe Biden and the whole messaging thing will be pluperfect.

It's like doing a movie on the Titanic and focusing on the story of the stand-up comedian with all the unsinkable jokes.

This is a result of living in an echo-chamber. When you have the Executive Branch with all its power, AND the MSM falling all over itself for your spin, you are going to end up with a distorted vision of reality.

My thoughts exactly.
