Calling Central Casting

There was discussion on another thread about whether John Bolton would have to lose the mustache to be taken seriously as a presidential candidate. Which begs the question, must you look the part before you can get the part?

What a shame that something as superficial as facial hair may be a factor that determines whether a candidate is successful.

As usual, on the top of my head. I keep forgetting that I'm in television. It should be about crass exploitation and driving the numbers, shouldn't it?

I think Mitch Daniels more closely resembles Cal Coolidge, both in appearance and governance.

Who on earth would vote for someone that shaved off their mustache to win office, anyway? That's almost as bad as that guy I read about who grew a beard to win the election. Abraham somebody.
