British Ambassador laments loss of Fadlallah

This is more than an impulsive Tweet. This is just nauseating.
The world needs more men like him willing to reach out across faiths, acknowledging the reality of the modern world and daring to confront old constraints.
"Reach out across faiths?" Yeah, he reached out and touched them, all right.
I can forgive Octavia Nasr a stupid, impulsive Tweet, but this just makes me ill.

Claire - are you really that surprised in today's day and age that a Brit would be so dense? It is so unfortunate that the whole country seems to have fallen down a cosmic bunny hole where everything is nuts.
The clarity of Churchill and Thatcher have been fogged up almost immeasurably. I sincerly hope that the country will pull itself out of the moral morass that it is in. It is a shame to see the slow and steady decline continue to happen.
By the way, the link above doesn't work.

Wow, just stunning. Like Grantman, I hope Britain can return to sanity, but it doesn't look good from where I sit. America Alone.....

I think the link has been taken down. The latest blog entry by Frances Guy is now from the end of June.
