Bringing the Ricochet Wikileaks Debate to Life
You've argued in favor of the resolution naming Wikileaks a legitimate member of the Fourth Estate, deserving of First Amendment rights, and you've argued against it. The Ricochet Wikileaks debate, spanning seven posts and 272 comments, has singularly prepared you to participate in a live discussion hosted by Ricochet member Nathaniel Wright. Nathaniel writes:
I will be hosting a discussion for 150 high school students on "Wikileaks vs. National Security: Is Wikileaks a Legitimate Member of the Press or a Threat to Security?" I am looking for speakers in the Los Angeles area who would be willing to speak on both sides of the topic and I thought that I would appeal to Ricochet members. I can offer them a small stipend -- $500, and reimburse travel costs up to $500 as well. The event is on February 5th in the evening.
