For a happy Friday, check out this song by a band called The Voters.

Great tune, spot-on politics.

Favorite line:  "Blame cream puffs for Michael Moore."

Enjoy:

That's very good - thank you!

A long time ago a teacher I had said, "Blame is no blame good."

Great lunchtime entertainment!  Geitner is Beavis:  Heh heh, let's trash an economy.  Cool!

Good Stuff! These fellows are Allman Bros. fans, I'd bet. Forget Willie and Journey for the convention, book these boys.

Can't get over how good this is. This is the soundtrack for this election.

I just bought their album -- Electile Dysfunction -- on iTunes.  It's also on Amazon

Not a fan of activist rock, even when it's a message I agree with. At least they put some effort into the actual music, which is more than I can say for most of their peers.

My convention dream:

Romney walks to the podium, allows the applause to roll to silence...  he calmly pulls the mic, gives a wink to Ann Coulter in the front row, then he smashes the teleprompter and karaokes the heck out of this thing!

At the risk of dating myself, there was a really cool conservative band in the 80s called Oingo Boingo.  Their leader, Danny Elfman, is now one of the most sought after movie score producers in Hollywoood.

Perhaps the GOP could coax Danny Elfman and the boys from Oingo Boingo out of retirement to play their songs, "There's Nothing Wrong With Capitalism", "Middle Class Socialist Brat" and "Only a Lad"

A political song that is also a good song.  That doesn't happen too often.

Ah, you must be a fan of that alternative history of rock music where the music and politics never crossed paths......

I'm generally not a fan of explicitly political music/movies/etc. Possibly half of your audience- the people you likely want to persuade- usually just tune out and the whole affair becomes choir preaching. Nothing wrong with that, per se, just a bit of a waste.

That said, the song is catchy and the video is really slick. Was thoroughly entertained.

Love it! Made my day. Was really bummed out after talking to a west coast friend who while independent, is convinced Obama will be re-elected. Thanks for sharing.

Did I mention I never -- ever -- watch music videos? (unless my kids force me to watch a singing hamster er somethin'). Sorry Lance.

This was great! Really great! My kids are gonna be shocked when they borrow my I-touch and find this song there!
