Black Hawk Down: Chivalry Lives

I would like to publicly thank and honor the Turkish hero who just responded to my hysterical plea for help in the wake of my discovery of a large dead pigeon under my bed. I would honor him by name, but I imagine he would not wish everyone in his extended family forever to be associated on Google with the words "corpse of a pigeon under Claire Berlinski's bed."
Hero: You know who you are, and thank you.
Villain: It's pretty clear who you are, too, walnut-brain, and if you think I'm going to thank you for that, dream on. Next time get yourself off the damned ledge.

You should invest in a lock. Those dead pigeons are crafty.
Re: Black Hawk Down: Chivalry Lives
Had it been a horse's head, Inanç, your comment would have been enough to give me pause. But it was a pigeon. It did not come in through the front door, though I'm pleased to say that's how it went out.

Ah, I missed this part when I wrote the comment. I was worried there for a bit.
I think that was a gift for you. One of the little fellas that live near my old apartment used to bring me dead rats every time I fed him.

Good God! EJ's done it again!
Re: Black Hawk Down: Chivalry Lives
We are working to post this as quickly as possible. By "we," I mean me. But for some reason we can't get it to upload. We suspect the pigeons are interfering.

It's an addiction. I'm checking myself into Photoshop rehab as soon as possible.

EJ, please hold off on rehab for a little. If you takes commissions I have one (seriously, and you will even be remunerated). If you are willing let's discuss.

You know, taking commissions here is a big violation of the code of conduct and terms of service. While I am flattered I am forced to respectfully decline.

Suleyman is a committed jihadist exacting revenge on the closest representative of The Great Satan, seems to me.

Re: Black Hawk Down: Chivalry Lives
My recent theory is that kitties give us these "presents" because they want use to cut them into bite-sized chunks for them.
I came up with this theory when I gave my cat a bit of Thanksgiving turkey and he just stared at me with a "what the hell am I supposed to do with this" look until i cut it up for him.
Maybe the Turkish kitty merely expected that you would prepare the meal since he/she had been so thoughtful to provide the ingredients?

I blame Ergenekon. Clearly they've framed Süleyman for his neo-Ottomanist leanings.
