The new standard for abstracts, I say.

They should have had Schrodinger's Cat as a keyword.

Love it. I guess the reference is to alleged recent measurements of neutrino velocities being than the speed of light. This if true, breaks a fundamental law of special relativity where c is the greatest velocity possible, and lots of other things I don't understand. Those who recall the room temperature super conductors of the 1980's, may recall a repeat of the experiment which failed to confirm them. The 2 extra resultant neutrons measured in this test were wrly named after the original researchers Pons and Fleischman. Who says Physicists don't have a sense of humor ?

That's my kind of science.

Others suggest themselves:

Are students less historically aware of the US Founding Fathers than 50 years ago?

Poisoning a cat.  The best kind of experiment.

This would be a great abstract for a paper entitled "Are humans causing catastrophic global warming by driving SUV's with under-inflated tires?"

Btw, Talleyrand, not to be pedantic, but the 1980's experiments were in cold fusion. This subject has not totally gone away

The jury is still out on the faster-than-light neutrinos. I blame Al Gore, personally.

Thanks for clarifying that.  I was twisting my brain around trying to figure out what 2 extra neutrons had to do with super conductors.

Foxman, that cat is only half-poisoned, until it's waveform collapses.
