Last night, our own Ben Domenech made his weekly appearance on the roundtable at Real News, where the topics included the fiscal cliff, gun control, and the controversial U.N. Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Think of the controversy he would have caused if instead of "gun culture" he would have said "black culture"....  I've seen a lot of evidence that black culture is really broken in this country.

As an extension of a prior thread about FNC... this show, Real News, is available on DISH TV Ch. 212 at 6PM, 8PM, and 11PM weeknights.  Perhaps some of the folks dissatisfied with FNC's programming might find The Blaze in general, and this show in particular, more to their liking.  No, Glenn Beck didn't pay me to type this comment.

Costas' argument (and that of guy in grey suit) is again only half of the story.  Study after study shows that when the people have firearms criminals react accordingly.  The dynamics of domestic violence are different, mostly because there is no cure for stupid.  Maybe the case in point (I have no idea who the people involved are) would have worked out differently if the woman had had her own weapon, but the real mistake was letting the nut case in her house.

The Blaze videos mostly do not identify the participants.  So far, the most interesting guy, to me, is the one in the gray suit.  Is that BD?  I assume that Ben is the guy in the blue shirt, with the tie, who is good.  I want to hear a few more words that aren't talked-over, from the guy in the gray suit.  I just liked his demeanor and insight.  I know whom the other 3 participants are.

Ah, the final video has a brief labeling of Gray Suit.  That's Ben Domenech.  What do you know, I have good taste!

Ben Domenech

Yes, I am the man in the Gray Suit.

Ah.  All is right with the world.  The Ricochet guy is the one that seems to get spoken over, but that appears to have an intelligent thought to finish, juuusst before the other 4 have to get out their memorized reactions.

We lose in the Talkover Wars.  We lose them because we don't have to memorize them.  We lose them because we do not have a glib response when we honestly try to listen to someone.

When people advocate for a reduction in liberty, they are always wrong. It takes a moment to say that to somebody, if you are a conservative.

I enjoy Coffee and Markets.  Is there a way to get it without via many clicks through other sites?  (Serious question: you wimps that don't have to mow over an acre prolly have children that are better than mine).

Ben is destined to be a regular on the Fox All Star panel.

Whenever I watch a clip from Glenn Beck's network, I'm impressed by the aesthetics. Looks different than anything else on TV.

Thank you for listening! Yes, coffeeandmarkets.com is the best destination for it, and you can of course subscribe to the iTunes feed.

The production crew on the show is excellent and I too am impressed by the quality of the network.
