ABC News and Yahoo! News have combined forces to help fill this nation's poll shortage. Their first effort comes up with the amazing finding that 53-percent of Americans would rather have Barack Obama in charge of economic policy compared to 35-percent who would prefer to have George W. Bush in that role. They actually asked that question. Hello? George Bush left office nearly two years ago. It's a stupid question. It's a really stupid question. Why not ask if you'd like to have Ryan Seacrest in charge of the economy? Or Billy from down the street. What if aliens were to come to Earth; how would they do? This is a poll question supposedly grown-up journalists are asking and reporting? This is a query that took the marriage of two communications giants to fashion? If only we could be polled on the question of whether we really need another fount of useless data. I'd like to meet the Yahoo that came up with this one.

By a margin of 52 to 48%, the poll found that Obama is more likely to be talked about like a dog.

"By a margin of 52 to 48%, the poll found that Obama is more likely to be talked about like a dog" ... by Obama.

When you are running out of news to report the crafty news organization creates their own. There''s nothing like "shocking poll results" to put your brand back in the headlines. The next step is to report the attitudes of "major news correspondents".

As Cas points out, it's just media onanism.

But you have to give the oddly-named MSM credit for doggedly slogging away on Obama's behalf. You won't find them to be fair-weather soldiers, no sir. They'll be twisting, spinning and outright lying right up to election night 2012. Then they'll go to work trying to undermine whoever the winning Republican is.

Another example of how the "in the Democrat (big D) tank" MSM is working hard for its candidates.

I happened to see a little of GMA the other day and they ran a permanent banner at the bottom regarding Christine O'donnell and witchcraft. Is GMA worried about witchcraft? The double standard is breathtaking.

Two Olympians are walking across the green towards the new dorm on the first day of the Games. They both appear to be in track and field.

Introducing himself, Bob asks the other, "Are you a pole vaulter ?".

He answers, "No, I am a Czech, but how did you know my name was Walter ?"

Don't trust polls, and the czech is ..............................!

"Poll shortage!" ; - D

Love it!

Latest poll: MSNBC says 86% of Americans prefer stupid polls to no polls at all... 82% think any poll with Yahoo! in it has no credibility whatsoever... 51% don't want Poles coming over here to take polls.... 20% wonder whatever happened to barber poles?

Enough with the onanism! The podcast was wall-to-wall onanism (ewww), and now it's crept onto the board. Can't we move on to witchcraft? Or Harry Reid and his hottest member?

Actually Yahoo! should poll the hottest member question, perhaps in coordination with E! Scott Brown wuz robbed.
