What amazes me first about this video is the Governor’s willingness to indulge this fellow in an exchange.  Most wouldn’t give him a chance.

Chris Christie’s final words to the guy (at 2:48) are just classic.

It hurts to think we aren’t going to have any Christie – Obama debates next year.

That is ironic considering Obama plants are responsible for a decent amount of his questions and reporters that ask tough questions are black balled, Chicago style.  At least that is my understanding from listening to a woman named Candy.

Can you imagine the number of "uh"s coming out of Obama's mouth in a debate against Gov. Christie?  The thing I find telling about the question is the unspoken assumption, or at least what I am guessing is the unspoken assumption.  I think this guy assumes that a leader cannot speak intelligently for 5-7 minutes on a subject without having the benefit of knowing the question was coming beforehand.  Because he assumes such, he cannot believe that the question wasn't planted.  One thing that has always impressed me about Christie is his grasp of the issues and his ability to put together a coherent description/argument/statement about them extemporaneously.  That speaks volumes of the work he puts into his position.

Not for nothing, Tommy, but while I think Christie is great for New Jersey, he just won't play in Peoria. I've walked around with that Jersey attitude for many years and it closes many more doors than it opens.

Thanks for the chuckle Tommy. Christie just cracks me up...he's so NOT pc and I love that about him. Forget about a debate with POTUS and whoever we finally nominate...how about a series of debates against some of the GOP brightest and most articulate leaders...Christie, Ryan, Jeb Bush, Gingrich, you, me, my dad, my son, some friends of mine...it would be most entertaining for sure. No teleprompters allowed.

I wish more of our politicians did not mistake tolerance of malice and lies as politeness.

You're right Dutch - Obama supporters apparantly find it impossible to speak at length without the benefit of a teleprompter.
