You alluded to "Animal Farm." In recent posts, I have alluded to "1984" and "Lord of the Flies." "Twitterspeak" ? Is this where we are headed?

I grew up on Sullivan's Island, SC. I grew up surfing and swimming and sailing and rinsing off with the hose and catching shrimp with a cast net.
It never occurred to me to read "Democracy in America" until I saw what was being done to the minutae in my life.
This is how democracy dies : little freedom(tweet) by little freedom(tweet) until it is all "Twittered" away. God help us.
