And Noel Sheppard catches him in the act.

I’ve written it before and I will write it again: If the Daily Beast wants to be taken seriously, it had better disassociate itself from Sullivan as fast as humanly possible. He is either utterly delusional or rampantly dishonest.

The man is a comedy show.  I think the Daily Beast enjoys his militant lunacy.

I think you underestimate Mr. Sullivan.  I personally think he is quite capable of being both utterly delusional AND rampantly dishonest at the same time, and often in the same sentence.

Mr. Orwell termed that "doublethink."

I think Andrew Sullivan is on to something. There are a whole lot of people who will vote for Romney in 2012 who will pretend they never voted for Obama in 2008. I expect the 2012 exit polls to reveal that Obama lost four years ago...

In the offices of the Daily Beast, I am sure that Sullivan is considered to be the best American writer since Mark Twain.

If you don't vote for Obama now, obviously, you must be a racist. The fact that you might have voted for him in 2008, therefore, has to be explained away somehow.

Pejman:

Andrew Sullivan Looks Silly

Far be it for me to criticize your headline, so I'll praise your subtle restraint.

I would replace "silly" with one of the following:  "like an idiot again"; "like the biggest suck-up in the media"; "like a ten-year-old".  There are an infinite variety of other ways to say that he's embarrassment to one of America's most embarrassing professions.

I reject your premise Pejman, by naming a news outlet 'The Daily Beast", one has already lost all credibility. By the time a clown like Sullivan gets to do any thing embarrassing or dishonest. all the fish in that particular barrel have been long shot.

George Will masterfully exposed Sullivan on This Week this past Sunday.  Sullivan was making the argument that if Virginia and North Carolina hand the Presidency to Romney, it will be the Confederacy again.  Will calmly said that (paraphrasing) in those states this many white people voted for Obama in 2008 (one hand in the air) and this many white people will vote for him in 2012 (other hand in the air at a lower level).  Now there are two possible explanations; either those people have seen four years of Obama's governance and decided it's time to try something else, or sometime in those four years, they all became racists.

Yes, Sullivan looked like the punchline he has become.  Not sure what this condition is called, but it's akin to the Bush Derangement Syndrome Charles Krauthammer coined to describe the apoplexy that seized the likes of Krugman and Chait during the GW Bush years.  It's sad because I once thought Sullivan was somewhat thoughtful... perhaps that was my misperception.

Sullivan should be asked this one question by everyone he ever meets: Why are you still in America?  The answer should destroy his credibility, but instead it allows him to think he's superior to the law and to his fellow human beings.

We should have stopped paying attention to him years ago.

What an inflated, illogical, self-absorbed, self-righteous, self-important blowhard.

Andrew Sullivan Looks Silly...

...and the sun rises in the east.

Mollie Hemingway, Ed.

There is no quicker way to make me disrespect people than if they tell me that they read Andrew Sullivan.

I look down on everyone I know who reads him.

If his uterine spelunking expedition of 2008 didn't make them realize he was insane, what would?
