Ugh.

Keith Olbermann may run for for Joe Lieberman's Senate seat.

I never thought I'd utter the words, "I miss Chuck Schumer."

If he wins, it will be another nail in the Democratic Party's coffin.

Wow, it is hard for me to believe that that average CT voter would buy into being represented by Mr. O.  I can't imagine KO is as capable a politician/representative as many who could run in his place.  Is being represented by a celebrity worth anything at the end of the day?

I agree, but that Stuart Smalley guy won, didn't he? What's his name? Oh. Al Franken. Is there a difference?

I thought Kayo hated Connecticut. He might actually have to go inside the city limits of Bristol.

I hope he runs.  I really do.  Despite the squeaker election that Al Franken won -- and there's some dispute about that -- I'm pretty convinced that Connecticut will shut him down hard.

As I said this weekend, when I heard the news: Olbermann is a terrific broadcaster -- he's very talented in that arena, and he should stay there.  But the reason he was fired was because his ratings were extremely low, especially when compared to other, cheaper talent -- like Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell.  MSNBC made a smart business move, which proves that even nutty lefties can read a P&L statement.  When they want to.  Or have to.

Actually, I think its because he's a world class megalomaniac and his own staff eventually grows to hate him, as happened in the sports world. They should probably put him in charge of a Wall Street investment bank.

All I know is that both his Primary opponent and his General opponent, should he get that far, will have to deal with "X is the worst person in the world" ads.

I have a pleasing picture in my mind of Macro Rubio kicking Keith's rear-end on the floor of the Senate.

If Alvin Greene could be taken seriously as a candidate...
