And, what the heck, here are some more Schoolhouse Rock songs about the War of Independence, for all your Gen X nostalgia needs.

First, for Claire, who’s busy indicting King George on Twitter:

I cannot recite the Preamble to the Constitution, but I CAN sing it thanks to Schoolhouse Rock.  My daughter grumbles, "Stop it, Mom," every time I start.  It's a GREAT way to embarrass your kids.  A few years back I found all the Rock videos on CD.  I also love Grammar Rock (Conjunction Junction, what's  your function?) and Math Rock (Figure Eight).

Absolutely!  I can sing several of them and they really did help.  Do they show these anymore?  Judging by this age of political correctness, I doubt it.  Also, I just checked on Wikipedia and found this little nugget:

"A new series entitled 'Schoolhouse Rock! Earth' was created by the original production team, premiered in 2009, and featured eleven environmentally-themed songs."

Surprise, surprise.
