There's been a tremendous outpouring of tributes, remembrances, and anecdotes written on Ricochet by both members and contributors over the past few days about our friend Andrew Breitbart. So many in fact, that our lead editor Diane Ellis took the time to create a special section to highlight and archive them.  Access it here or by clicking EJHill's graphic on the right side of front page. Please take a few minutes and stop by. You'll be glad you did.

There was a post on Ace's site about an NYC AB memorial meetup at a bar tomorrow night. I think I'll stop by. It could be...reassuring and comforting...

Breitbart's website is currently under major reorganization as they tool up to begin releasing the stuff he's been putting together and some hard-nosed investigative journalism pieces.

The comment sections over there has gone wild -- it's crawling with trolls spewing pretty disgusting bile.  But I see they have just put up a new login system, so everyone has to start from scratch.  I just signed up, and I observe that they no longer use proxy identity servers, but you've got to sign in with your own name and email address.  That will discourage the most casual of tactics but not serious trolls and web-savvy attacks.

In particular two:

1.  a piece showing a strategy meeting of OWS folks discussing their "next" moves, which include occupying homes ... that's right homes.  The idea is to take over ownership of homes banks own and forcing them to abandon the mortgages, under the premise that the banks have no right to them, they are the property of "the people".  And much talk of the use of violence, extreme antiamerican rhetoric...

and 2.  A piece called "The Vetting, Part I:  Barack's Love Song to Alinsky".  Must-read.
