Remember last winter, when the Tiger Woods scandal broke? And remember when talk shows all over the dial were showing that hilarious Chinese animation depicting the, ahem, alleged events? If you don't, refresh your memory here.

Well, they're at it again. This time, depicting the, ahem, alleged events in the recent Al Gore massage-in-Portland story.

Let me stipulate: this is totally unfair. Charges were dropped. The accuser seems like a flake. Nothing about the story seems like Al Gore's style. He's probably completely innocent.

Still, it's funny. And in Chinese.

Have a great weekend!

That creature looks way more life-like than Al Gore. Totally unrealistic.

Mickey Gooch

Will be interesting to see if the womens groups compromise their positions to jump to Gore's defense and trash the accuser as they did with Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky.

Apparently pixelation takes off 30 pounds. Who knew?

I don't know, Mickey -- I wouldn't hold my breath! But to be fair, this could just be some crackpot accusation from some nutjob.

The real question is: how many times do you think Bill Clinton clicked on that YouTube video? He has got to be loving this.

Mickey Gooch

In the UK now in the case of rape the accused has the same rights to anonymity as the accuser- While I have no general sympathy for Gore on other issues- if this is a crackpot accusation from some nutjob then it is a good argument for a system that protects the accused as well as the accuser.

Rob Long

I totally agree. And it's interesting that the very crime bill Bill Clinton signed, early on in his administration, contained in it lots of loose and open-ended provisions for accusers in sexual harassment cases -- exactly the provisions that Paula Jones used to file her case against him. We may be returning to a place of sanity in these kinds of cases, thanks to the unexpected consequences of all of these stupid laws -- I mean, let's face it, they were written to ensnare conservatives, like Clarence Thomas and John Tower. No one thought they'd be used against Democrats.

Yes yes yes, and now it's very important that we get back to laughing at Al Gore. :-)
