Hamas just jumped the shark. I mean, really.
GAZA (Reuters) – The Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Monday condemned the killing by U.S. forces of Osama bin Laden and mourned him as an "Arab holy warrior."
"We regard this as a continuation of the American policy based on oppression and the shedding of Muslim and Arab blood," Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas administration in the Gaza Strip, told reporters.

So Al Qaeda or Hamas never killed Arabs or Muslims, right? The useful idiots won't budge an inch in their sympathy for Hamas, no matter what they do.(PS I searched the Free Gaza Movement(Ireland) website for "Fogel" a couple of days ago- surprise, surprise: no result).

At least Hamas is being honest - better than my Muslim convert leftist brother in law, who alternates between "Bin Laden is a creation of Western media" and "Bin Laden has been dead for years. And he's not even Muslim".

Another example of the Rob Long Theory of Middle Eastern Politics. We can take stock of the reaction to Osama Bin Laden's death and see, clearly, who are our friends and enemies. Now we have a ready-made rebuttal to any talk from our national media about moderate Hamas members.

Could not have said it any better myself. The clarity that this brings to the region and hopefully to our decision makers is most welcome. Time for Hamas/Fatah & the Pakistanis "come to Jesus" moment.
