Adam Carolla is Back!
I'm a big Conan O'Brien fan. Always have been. Every single night of his nearly 20-year career on television, Conan tells the audience, "We've got a great show for you, folks." Does he always mean it? Not a chance. But some nights, probably many nights, he does.
Folks, we've got a great show for you this week. (And I couldn't mean it more.)
The first segment is a lively, entertaining interview with conservative columnist and commentator Jedediah Bila. Ms. Bila is a frequent contributor on Fox News Channel, writes for The Dailler Caller and Human Events, and has a fantastic new book out, Outnumbered:Chronicles of a Manhattan Conservative.
And then, back by popular demand for his second appearance on The R.J. Moeller Show, is none other than the great Adam Carolla. Host of the most downloaded podcast in human history, author of a New York Times' best-seller, and Renaissance man extraordinaire, Adam Carolla is - and I don't care what those saps at Dos Equis may say - the most interesting man in the world.
My conversation with Adam covered an array of topics, including: why you shouldn't care too much about sports, L.A.'s "sociopath" mayor, meatball hoagies, and Andrew Breitbart. Interesting tidbit about this interview: it was conducted face-to-face in Carolla's own podcasting studio in Glendale, CA late last month.

Re: Adam Carolla is Back!
Glad to see I'm not the only Carolla fan. The Car Show is one of the best shows on TV. It's what Top Gear US tried to be (and failed at miserably).

I'm also glad to find another conservative fan of Carolla. He's hilarious. And although I'm not a "car guy" myself, because he hosts it, I've watched the new show on Speed (not the drug...although from what I hear, that would be fun). If you wouldn't mind, Richard, send a link to the interview along to anyone else you know who may enjoy it. Thanks!

Re: Adam Carolla is Back!
R.J.,
Thank you so much for your behind-the-scenes diplomacy to get Adam on The Dennis Prager Show. Just to let you know, your work has contributed to Ace's revenue stream. I wasn't really familiar with him but avoided him because of his MTV connection. (It's a rule that normally works for me.) Then I heard him on Prager and then caught audio of his Andrew Breitbart interview linked from a conservative blog. I was completely hooked. Bought his book (absolutely hysterical), bought the video feed of his podcast (also hysterical), and do my purchases on Amazon through his link. One of the most nimble-brained people I've ever heard -- can make any anecdote or news story hilarious and informative. Must be his improv background.
Thanks again!

Re: Adam Carolla is Back!
I'm also a huge fan of Adam Carolla. I listen to his podcast on my 50 minute each way drive to work each day. The guy is a genius. He's so much more genuine than most other comedians (and he's so much more than just a comedian). He just lets it ALL hang out. Listening to his podcast over a period of time you get the sense that you know the guy better than most of your friends.

SWB, I couldn't agree more. Great summary of why AC is so good at what he does.

You definitely make a connection with Carolla if you listen to him long enough. He's extremely open and candid and it's great.
