I do not think this cat is cute. I do not think this cat is cute. I do not think is cute.

Evidently, you cannot give away a cat that looks like Hitler in the U.K. But in the U.S....... they are celebrated with their own web site. Yes, CatsThatLookLikeHitler.com. When's the IPO?

NOTE: Originally I forgot the link to the U.K. story that makes some sense of this.

This cat is not adorable. This cat is not adorable. This cat is not adorable.

The kitten wasn't unadoptable because of its markings.  The problem was the torchlight rallies it held with the other shelter cats, haranguing them on the need to take over the dog kennels in the shelter for "kitty Lebensraum," complete with shouts of "Schweinhund Raus!"

Someone needs to tell the little Hitler cat that its mustache has slipped a bit.

How totally cool. Thank you, Al Gore for inventing the Internet. I suspect that website has saved a few cat lives and when they are in the shelter they are down to their last one.

Another reason to hate cats.

That really isn't the best example of Kitler markings.  Check out the American website for some really disturbing looking cats.

This is interesting. I was watching The Social Network on TV last night and there is a passing reference to cats who look like Hitler from a character who has her notebook PC open during a glee club recital at Harvard. Apparently this craze has a history if albeit brief (at least as old as the production of the film...but perhaps older).

I wonder, does Godwin's Law apply if Ricochet discussions inevitably mention cats that look like Hitler...would that be Godwin's Law Cat Addendum?
