It's called Five Books, and it's seriously one of the coolest sites I've discovered all year.

I 'liked' Five Books on Facebook, which is a great way cto be notified when they put out a new list of five books.
On the other hand, my wish list at Amazon has grown to seriously unwieldy lengths since I discovered Five Books.

Is this the same site from Dr. Savage's post?

So that's why Mitch's book choices sounded so familiar! Indeed it is, but I'd never clicked around to explore the site. It really is nifty.

As if I needed another source encouraging me to buy more books. Thanks, Diane. No, really.
Re: A Super Cool Site For Aspiring Bookworms
The best education I ever received was during the two years I worked as Peter Robinson's research assistant and as a writer for Uncommon Knowledge. I had to read an incredible number of books for that job, and I learned a lot more from them than I did in four years of college. So I'm a big proponent of the self-taught [wo]man.
