wilber forge: Cute, Somebody here needs to learn to make videos. Get some real voices, please. Any talent, wordsmithing aside ?
You're funny. But in case you don't peruse the entire site, it's a play on Claire's Artificial Intelligence post from earlier today. A "real" voice would be counterproductive.
As for "learning" how to make videos... I don't make those. I make television. Sorry, but I left my 48' production truck in my other suit and took it to the cleaners.
That's nearly a sufficient replacement for the podcast, EJ. Just as many laughs (snort!). Peter, James and Rob better watch out or they'll be replaced! You know, like bank tellers replaced by ATMs.

My humble apologies, did miss the earlier post today. The initial reaction is that the use of the Bot thing is overused ad nauseum. As for videos, there appears to an ample supply, short on imagination and originality.
My Stop Animation suit still hangs in the closet until the imagination calls again.
The use of real voices can have real impact once blended with the correct images in the video presentations. The key lies in placing the unexpected into the message.
The software is wonderfull, the learning curve is very steep, albeit fun in the end if the product works...

I get the whole Berlinski-bot thing, but those monotone voices just suck whatever humor this bit had out like a lemon. Maybe it's because I've seen (and unfortunately, heard) this stuff done to death elsewhere on the web.

Maybe use Stephen Hawking's "voice" next time.
