This morning, Ricochet's own Peter Robinson sat down for an Uncommon Knowledge interview with Rep. Paul Ryan. By way of the Blue Yeti, a bit of photographic evidence:

Is that Paul Ryan or Anthony Weiner? I hear he's looking for a new gig.

(It might just be me but Ryan looks a lot like Weiner in this pic)

I think Mr Ryan has changed his haircut, which may cause the confusion with Weiner - but I don't think so.

In hindsight, it's probably best that Mr Ryan didn't run for President - he is probably better at coming up with new policies, like the new healthcare plan.

Then he can move on to implementing Mr Cain's 9-9-9 plan ;-)

Picture taken in a television studio... obviously couldn't find the union electrician needed to turn some lights ON...

Here I come from just commenting in the Members Feed about the unsuitableness of the current candidates, to this. It's just too cruel. If he won't be our Prom date, can't you just make him go away?---sobs---

The photo was taken with my iPhone and then processed through Instagram. Probably shouldn't have done that. Here's the unprocessed version:

Never take straight on pictures.  Yeek! Not flattering.  Kudos to Peter for getting such an awesome guest (I can't wait to see the episode!).

I wouldn't have let him leave the studio until he agreed to run.

I like that.  Please tell us you begged him to change his mind and run.

Hope Ryan will be first candidate to announce on Uncommon Knowledge!

Now this is a ticket! I'm assuming EJHill has the bumper sticker forthcoming.

But we've already given the opposition this grainy photograph, which can be combined with innuendo about Peter's questionable past to create all kinds of ominous sounding negative ads.

So... a Yeti spots two conservatives in CA.

I'm not much for doom-mongering, but that's gotta be a sign of something.

"Peter Robinson worked at an institution named for Herbert Hoover ... is that really the sort of man you want to trust the American economy to?"

Wherever this world is, EJ, I'd rather live there.

You'll notice they're indoors. We fear the light and stalk the darkness here in the Golden State.

It's a new political party. The symbol is a buffalo. A binson is sort of a nerdy bison.
