A Ricochet Cruise?

I was this morning interviewed for a Ricochet podcast, which will no doubt be posted before long, in which I confessed that my ambition in life is to be historian-in-residence in the White House during Paul Ryan’s first administration.
More to the point, however, at the end of my allotted time, I turned the tables on Peter Robinson and Rob Long and asked them when Ricochet should hold its first cruise. I even suggested that we do a victory lap around the Mediterranean in December 2012 (as soon as I have graded my finals).
Seriously, folks, when should there be a cruise and where should we go? Who should be on it? And what should they do? (I imagine Claire Berlinski dancing on a table with a rose between her teeth).

We should do it before all the glaciers melt and all the polar bears drown - i.e. sometime in the next 10000 years

I was thinking if Ryan replaces Obama the only true victory lap would be a Lake Michigan trip from Chicago to Green Bay - with the obligatory cheese-head wear - in the summer of 2013.

Time, indeed. I was on a plane from Prague to JFK when it was posted and missed it entirely.

Paul, I'm with you on the Mediterranean being the choice of destinations. My wife is dying for me to see it for our 5 year anniversary and that would match up nicely.
Rob Long can shadow us on the container ship. I don,t think their buffet is as good as most cruise lines.
