James Poulos, Ed. · Dec 31, 2010 at 2:55pm

As Ricochet charges ahead into what's sure to be an action-packed year, you'll notice that my name will shed the "Ed." at the end -- and that The Bottom Line, my talk show at PJTV, will be airing thrice weekly. Claire, Diane, and Emily, of course, possess all the discernment and charm a Ricochetian could desire. And on top of that, we have Mssrs. Riddle and Schwartzman to thank for their efforts. So I'll be delighted -- and fortunate -- to spend 2011 taping the finest in interviews and opinion while continuing to share with you all the best place online to discuss politics on the right.

Herewith, a toast: To Ricochet -- members, contributors, and founders alike. A privilege it's been to help bring it to life -- and a pleasure to see it stay healthy and wise.

Happy New Year!

I just looked at the interview you did with Rob Long. Quite good, though I think you should have encouraged Rob to talk about the moneymaking side more.

At least I don't have to keep calling you an "editrix".  That got weird in a hurry.

So that's what you sound like.  You're not going away for good, are you?  I've got more examples of humor in the Bible for you.

You guys go ahead and charge into the New Year.

I'm dragging my sorry carcass across 2010's finish line while muttering, "How did I get to be so freaking old?"

James, as a toast, I offer you my favorite (faux) Latin expression:

Illegitimi non carborundum

Barry Goldwater liked it, too, so it has a proud conservative heritage.

I pefer "Editor Emeritus", since it makes James sound like he's 72.  Gravitas and all that.

It's been great viewing your interviews with commentary on PJTV, James. I'm an enthusiastic subscriber and think your segment is a big addition to both the lineup and the increasing production values. Cheers!

I just watched this interview.  Excellent work James.  It was really interesting hearing Rob talk about the business.
