Soros is putting his money towards government-enforced "charity" for all America's wealthy: charity by proxy! It would be very interesting to see how many tax dollars have gone to the poor as a result of Soros-funded campaigns, and compare that to the amounts Soros has spent on 'em.

Clearly, it's time to start a charity. It will have modest, well relatively modest, overhead. For admin only, of course.

I don't know (yet) who the others are, but my thought would be that they perhaps earned all their money from enterprises that offered worthwhile goods and services (such as Kansas City's Stowers family). 'Worthwhile would be the operative word. Soros....Winfrey.....not too worthwhile in my opinion.

So what. Is it really my business to know who is generous and who is not? I can somewhat understand our human desire to "out" the hypocrites. However, I ultimately don't give a hoot whether wealthy people are generous or not. If they are, I hope the recipients are helped and the donors are blessed. If they're not, I hope they're enjoying the fruits of their work (or great grand parents' work).
