What happened to the News Tab on Ricochet?

Was it to hard to maintain?
Did it not get the hits it needed to show it was used?
It cost to much to have on the site?
I want it back!!!!

It was time consuming to produce, and didn't get enough traffic to justify its existence. We also felt that it wasn't really within the sweet spot of our competence: we're more about news interpretation than news aggregation.
For the combination of the above, we retired it about six months ago. We're sorry to have disappointed some of you by pulling it.
