Does anyone know this sitcom reference?
This is kinda silly, but I thought it would be cool to insert a short video in posts or comments where I might be misconstrued* as a caustic jerk:
I vaguely recall a sitcom from the 70's or early 80's in which a guest character--I want to say Sheldon Leonard, but unsure--has an extremely sarcastic tone to everything he says to the point that the other cast members don't know if he's mocking them or not, and hilarity ensues. At one point he explains that his voice is just like that, but even that explanation is so imbued with sarcasm that your still not sure he's sincere.
I want to say it was an episode of Taxi, but I'm drawing blanks on Youtube etc. If it was Cheers, I humbly apologize... gulp.
*or properly construed, as the case may be.

KeystoneStater: Dash,
I read your request and looked on IMDB website, which you already may be aware of, and found that Sheldon Leonard was on an episode of Cheers in 1992. I don't know if this is what you are looking for or if it will help you regarding your reference. There are some links where you can watch also.
Dave Molinari: I consider myself an expert on Cheers, but don't remember this. I'd be quite embarrassed if I were wrong since I've put a lot of work into this particular expertise.
Ferguson: Kids in the Hall? If not, just enjoy.
