Either Google is failing me, or nobody has the courage to compile data on government dependency by race. It's not my interest to make an argument racists might favor, nor do I particularly care to slice and dice Americans into disparate ethnic/racial groups. In fact, I'm hoping the data dispels some of the widely held notions about government dependence. However, Democrats, and particularly the president, do try to use these divisions to their advantage and I just want to know the truth about the current condition of the country in order to combat the prevailing narrative. In my brief online perusal, I was only able to find one PDF at the US Census website which seemed to address the topic, but it was from 1998.
Can anyone point me to a reliable source of information, preferably based on 2010 census data?
