Well, you can also google a member, such as "Ricochet Mama Toad," and the profile usually pops up. I don't think there is another way to get to a profile than clicking on the link.

There is one other way besides those mentioned previously. If you "Follow" the member, you can go to your own "Profile" and click on their avatar within your listing of members you follow.

If the user has a pen name and has setting configured to allow it in the profile URL, then you can use that to pretty easily access it.
If not, then you need their member ID number, or you can try to use google to search for their profile name.
e.g. here is a google search for "mothership_greg's profile" on ricochet.com
To have the pen name in the URL, the user needs to have checked the box labeled "Show name in profile URL" under their "My Account" settings.
e.g. here is my profile
When I uncheck the option, then my URL becomes
However, it only works if the box is unchecked.
Once I check the box you can only use the captainpower URL.
I'm not sure why it doesn't remain active in both scenarios.
I'm also not really sure why the pen name isn't available in the URL by default.
Maybe the ricochet founders assumed people would not want others looking in on their profiles?
