Re: Introducing "Inside Ricochet"
BSA, The quality and reliability of the website is amazing and the evolution of new features is seamless, though I know hardly effortless. I was delighted a few days ago to see a notice that the site was experiencing heavy traffic and that an added server was being brought on-line - good for Ricochet! (I didn't experience any problems at that time) Since those efforts bespeak a striving for perfection, please don't take the following as complaints, just observations:
The ez publish platform has known problems with memory leaks and I am certainly seeing that on my own computer (Windows XP, 2GB ram). This may not be noticeable for casual Ricochetarians but I keep an IE tab open to the site most of the day.
Occasionally the contributor posts come down as text rather than HTML, this seems to be much less frequent than a month or two ago. Please check my "Conversations I Am Following" for an example. (While you are there could you "unfollow it" for me, the controls don't work on the text instance).
Congratulations on a great job!

Re: Introducing "Inside Ricochet"
Thanks for the feedback!
Unfortunately I don't have the features in place to view your "Conversations I'm Following" page as you see it.
Some of the contributor posts may be coming through as text because the contributors submit them from mobile platforms, which do not support the rich-text entry field we have on the site. As a workaround, they were given a plain-text entry field. I was aware of some formatting issues with that, but thanks for reminding me.
We really need to bring on another full-time developer or so. My experience with eZ Publish has been both wonderful and frustrating at times. It's a great platform but not perfect.

Re: Introducing "Inside Ricochet"
Starting yesterday, I haven't been able to see anyone's comments anywhere on the site unless I click on a line of text that says, 'Show (whomever's) comment' It's very annoying. Previously I could scan comments in an instant and determine whether I wanted to read them. Why the change?
I've received comments in the Member Feed that indicate this isn't happening to everyone.

For future reference for anyone else experiencing this problem, the full dialog, BSA assistance with the issue, and the resolution is posted by River's Problem Solved post

Re: Introducing "Inside Ricochet"
Is there a way to report a technical problem confidentially? The reason that I am asking is a security/privacy glitch I noticed. I do not want to describe the problem in an open comment thread as it would invite anyone to explore the vulnerability.
