Is Bloomberg Just Trolling Us Now?
If he is, he is succeeding handily. Mike, when we accused of you expanding the nanny state, we didn't expect you would take it this literally.
Mayor Bloomberg is pushing hospitals to hide their baby formula behind locked doors so more new mothers will breast-feed.
Starting Sept. 3, the city will keep tabs on the number of bottles that participating hospitals stock and use — the most restrictive pro-breast-milk program in the nation.
They're not prohibiting bottle-feeding, they're just trying to encourage breast-feeding. All the same, what ever happened to government getting in between women and their health decisions? This just sounds like the patriarchy dictating to women what to do with their bodies.

Re: Is Bloomberg Just Trolling Us Now?
Is this true? Is Bloomberg really going this far? Will women let him do this? How would he like to be forced to breast-feed? Let him try it if he believes in it so much! Unbelievable how far governments are going nowadays to interfere in the lives of ordinary people.

But, Eric – liberals don't mind the government interfering in personal decisions, just so long as the politician in question isn't white, wealthy, and male!

Interestingly enough, it took my boss half an hour to get in and out of the drive-through at Chick-Fil-A yesterday, and locations in northern Virginia are just getting slammed today.

Good point. Gets everyone talking about it rather than the economy.
