Union Activists Confused About Where The Right To Swing Fists Ends

Unbelievable. Union thugs assaulted conservative reporter Steven Crowder at a rally against Michigan laws that protect employees from being forced to join a union against their will.

I would link to mainstream media coverage of these assaults but I can’t find any. Which is weird, because last year they couldn’t get enough about violent protests by Tea Partiers … and that was without any, you know, violence from Tea Partiers.

Then he issued an executive order- which Bill Clinton immediately repealed.

That cost me a lot of money, which went straight to the democratic party.

So, again: just what are the many union members who do not support thuggery supposed to do about it, when the GOP will do nothing even after winning an election and getting a favorable supreme court decision?

Are we supposed to break the law, too?

I hope not, because buried in that idea is the sure truth that the GOP will have collapsed utterly and completely. Otherwise people would have hope of redress of grievances via elections, not street violence.

Maybe that’s coming and maybe that’s what it will take.

But it won’t be a sign of GOP success.

I should add, and not just because I’m the daughter of a union member, that the actions of these men in the video above are awful and yet do not represent the actions of most union members.

But I probably can’t be expected to say many nice things about union leaders.

Can’t understand why the state would wish to curtail the power of such charming and witty debaters.

A tent set up by supporters of the measures also collapsed amid what authorities described as “pushing and shoving” among protesters. No one was hurt, police said.

Stay strong, my Michigan friends! We in Wisconsin know what you’re going through. You have a long battle ahead of you, but the key to winning is to simply shine the light on the ugly antics of the Unionistas. They do not seem to understand how repulsive their actions are to the average citizen, and the more they act up, the more people will turn against them. Never interfere with your enemy while he’s in the process of destroying himself.

Should be an interesting evening to contrast and compare the nightly news coverage . Of course, having an IQ of somewhere around 80, it’s going to be a chore to find the right channel to watch Crowder on.

Guess I’ll just keep it on FOX. Otherwise I am sure to hear about the fabulous Beyonce Pepsi deal.

You know, Mollie, every time something like this happens, there is the sad excuse that “well, not ALL union members are like this.” ?Really. Seems all those caught on camera are. Guess the others are simply camera shy.

Germans made the same excuses for the Nazis, and indeed, all evildoers get that kind of excuse – they’re ALL not that bad. Even muslims.

?Isn’t it time to simply call it as you see it and let the chips fall where they may. If the “others” aren’t like this, why aren’t they out there to stop this violence, to demonstrate against it, to show their support for lawful demonstration, etc. Unions view it as “if you aren’t with us, you’re against us.” We should also.

Clearly most union members aren’t violent. The question is, do most union members condone the ones who are?

There is now a $1k reward for identifying the person in the video who punched Crowder.

A Salute and Support to Mr. Crowder.   I’m not surprised to see this behavior, this is what coddled thugs look like when their vig is gone.  It’s only going to get worse in Blue Model America (the summer of 2013 will be interesting in CA and NY).  We have only begun to see to what depths Union Thugs will sink, but I think that the quote of the Demo-Thug was correct, “there will be blood”.  I hate to be crass, but wise reforming politicos will always exempt the police unions from any reforms.  We need to keep the strong arm of the law on the side of reformers.  Wasn’t it Dear Leader Obama who said bring a gun to a knife fight…

Well put.  Kind of like most muslims aren’t violent…

But in this case the dissenting union members can show they don’t support this thuggery by quitting the union.  If they are in a RTW state and don’t quit, they support this behavior.

Failure to exempt police and firefighter unions was a big factor in the demise of public-employee union reform in Ohio.

The reason they get away with this stuff is that they enjoy Most Favored Protester status in the media centers. Left-wing protesters are given the leeway to “occupy” property that does not belong to them, as well as act menacingly and commit violence without being portrayed negatively by the dominant media.

That and they’re not afraid, physically afraid.  The best way to cow a bully is to kick the [COC VIOLATION] out of him.  Maybe it’s time for our own Pinkerton agents.

  15. wilber forge

Listen early into the video where the Union guy says “Parasitical Wages”.

Then goes on to say the new non-union employees would not contribute to the effort. In other words “ours” not theirs.

Please feel free to correct these old ears, if I am wrong.

Sheesh, failure to exempt police and firefighters means failure of the RTW reforms? Why is it okay for police and firefighters to be forced into unions (public sector unions, which are bankrupting the municipalities/states, no less) and yet, it’s destructive for employees and businesses in the private sector?

What a stinkin’ rotten deal the unions are for everyone except the union leadership, it seems. Stand strong Michigan. Theses thugs have got to go.

It is worth contemplating the intersection of this post and Team America’s Societal Collapse one.  It will be really ugly when the worse part of Blue America (CA, IL, NY) fails and demands that TX et al bail them out via Obama and the Federal Government.  That has the potential to get Fort Sumnter-like.

It’s going to be trench warfare for the next decade or so.  We need all the allies we can get.  Public Safety workers are tempermentally on our side.  Let’s keep them on our side, we need all the help we can get.  I mean, Churchill allied with Stalin for God’s sake!
