Taking the Fight to Planned Parenthood

Released today:

The Alliance Defense Fund Tuesday officially made public its report to Congress identifying waste, abuse, and potential fraud by Planned Parenthood affiliates across the nation that may amount to multiple millions of dollars in wasted taxpayer money. ADF attorneys prepared the report to aid Congress in its investigation of the abortion giant. The Susan B. Anthony List has partnered with ADF on the effort. “Americans deserve to know if their hard-earned tax money is being funneled to groups that are misusing it,” said ADF Litigation Counsel Catherine Foster. “Planned Parenthood has to play by the same rules as everyone else. It certainly isn’t entitled to a penny of public funds, especially if it is committing Medicaid fraud.”

The October 2011 report states, “In our experience, based on the publicly available audits summarized herein and confirmed by our confidential sources, Planned Parenthood’s primary motivation is to take advantage of ‘overbilling’ opportunities to maximize its revenues in complex, well-funded federal and state programs that are understaffed and rely on the integrity of the provider for program compliance….”

We just watched what Planned Parenthood and its allies did to the Komen Foundation.  Which means?  That people who run the Alliance Defense Fund and the Susan B. Anthony List are now engaged in a display of something very fine, and very rare:

Political courage.

I’m convinced that if there is anything that would make the Founders/Framers foam at the mouth in contempt it would be the knowledge of public money funding abortions.

This could be very important if reported. And now we can look upon them as the criminals they are. But there’s no gain in that vanity. Come back Komen, your policy was prescient. Let’s see the whole list now. Besides US and you, who else throws money into this grinder ?

    Woot!

Not very eloquent, I know.  But that’s how I feel.

What’s interesting to note here is that these links don’t go to any mainstream media sites. They don’t report this news. I made that point in my CNN piece today about all the recent investigative pieces about the Komen foundation:

While Komen will now be raked over the coals, will the media similarly investigate Planned Parenthood? It’s doubtful.

The media coverage has been so fawning over the years that conservative activists have recently gone undercover to raise doubts about whether Planned Parenthood actually performs mammograms. These independent journalists have also produced evidence suggesting that some affiliates have failed to report instances of sexual abuse, sexual trafficking and rape.

“There’s no question that the media,” said Daily Beast media critic Howard Kurtz, “have been approaching the whole narrative from the left.”

Sure, go ahead.  Rain on my parade.

It’s headed for the memory hole already, I fear.  The MSM isn’t even pretending anymore.

So, which other charities can PP strongarm?  I mean, there’s no real point in pretending to be anything other than a protection racket at this point.  Surely they can put the bite on the American Cancer Society as well, plus the American Heart Association, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, heck, the Daughters of the American Revolution can be squeezed for a score if they just put their minds to it.

    Peter,

I’d like people to read a great book on Darwin which tells us about the origin of Eugenics.  This book entitled “The Darwin Myth” really gives you the background you need to understand Francis Galton, Darwin’s cousin who created Eugenics in 1883, 24 years after Darwin’s “On the Origin of Species”. Galton created Eugenics specifically to defend his cousin’s point of view.

Eugenics is, of course, the theory that is the cental thesis of Fascism. I think everyone should take the time to study these subjects in depth.

However, just in case you don’t have the time right now, I think the photo below of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planed Parenthood, who was a strong proponent of Eugenics tells us the story quickly. Since time is of the essence here it is:
