Converting Natives

Brave men went forth in years past armed with bibles, the fervor of youth,  and a pureness of faith. Some were scalped, burned, eaten, and otherwise treated unwell.   Yet others made inroads and today in many areas of the world you have various understandings of Christian faith.  Christmas Island in the Pacific has a bundle of Protestants, Catholics, and a few odd faiths like Baha’i which the head fishing guide Tennaki belongs to.  This has little to do with the conversion I’m discussing.
