Nah! nobody would believe that script. Too unbelievable!

reidspoorhouse

By the way the leg was lost fighting for the other side.

This country is amazingly young. My profile picture is of my Great great grandfather a CSA Colonel, I also have a Great Grandfather who lost his right leg in that war. Not much longer and we will all be in the not so distant past. Of course we didn't have that perspective just a few measly years ago.

Wow!

I was expecting more from this President, but should have known better! He is a liberal after all, and the cure for everything is throwing money at it, and if that doesn't work, throw even more money at it. If you want proof of that look at Head Start, what a smashing success that has been! Our President is such a genius, and so brave too, first likely he doesn't believe what Bill Cosby said, and secondly, he wouldn't have the guts to say it if he did! He believes that equality means everyone dropping down, instead of changing the culture of dependency, and irresponsibility in the inner city so that African-American youth can enjoy success, and a longer life span than the average incarcerated black man.

You're the umpire, what's your decision?

reidspoorhouse

Ok, I've got one, bottom of the ninth tie score, two outs, no one on base, the batter slams a long fly ball, and just before the ball clears the fence it splits in half, and the outfielder catches one half, and the other goes over?

Our time is so focused on food, I remember when parents had to make us come in to eat, and we didn't want too, we were too busy playing! This all started when someone noticed that kids who eat breakfast get better grades than kids who don't, and decided that it had something to do with the food, when what really mattered is that the kids who ate breakfast had parents who cared!

This goes back to FDR who forced higher prices thinking it would create greater profit, and more jobs as a result. Henry Ford refused to raise his prices, he didn't go to prison, but some did!

Dave, well said!

Actually, Forge, they were willing to do battle for any woman! Most likely due to any available woman was good.

reidspoorhouse

Shellgamer, that won't work. You say that women have more incentive not to be pregnant due to the burden of care, but it still happens, so why would it be better if men were even more responsible? I believe it would be worse, not better, because there is even less consequence with stricter burden on the men. Now if there was birth control for men the stronger rules would work!

Rachel, thanks for the clarification.
