Bio

Tommy De Seno was Tea Party before the rest of America boiled the water.

This proud Catholic hails from Asbury Park, NJ (the town that rips the bones from your back, it's a death trap, it's a suicide rap, we've got to get out while we're young).

The only chink in his conservative armor is his job as an evil trial lawyer, transferring wealth from fat cat insurance companies to injured people thoughout New Jersey.

Speaking of Jersey, don't call him North or South Jersey. Tommy's a clamdigger from the Jersey Shore - sand between his toes and white stuff on his nose.

When not making welching insurance companies pay on the bets they made and lost, or shredding riffs on his guitar, Tommy is a Little League and Pop Warner coach. He's married and has fruitfully multiplied to head a family of 6.

His writing credits include over 400 published columns in the triCityNews (Asbury Park, NJ), on FoxNews.com, on Tucker Carlson's Daily Caller, and now, ready to prove he can piss in the tall grass with the big dogs, on Ricochet.

He is the editor of www.JustifiedRight.com

Wow tofu has my widest margin of disagreement with the left, right and anyone else who chews on that rubber.

Who does more damage to Conservatives - a Democrat embracing liberalism, or a Republican embracing liberalism?

I say the Republican does more damage to Conservatism.    Think George Bush stating he had to "Abandon Capitalism to save Capitalism."  Good grief.

Given the choice, I'd rather Barry the Democrat harm the country than Mitt the Republican. · 45 minutes ago

Unbelievable, Tommy.

BOzo will cause unlimited damage. Romney would have caused virtually none! · 34 minutes ago

That depends on your view of Romney.  I believe the etcha-sketch remark foretold that he was going to go the full Obama once he got in office.

I saw no stark contrast in 2012's election -  just two shades of bad.

If you are talking Team America, the scene with Kim Jong Il and Hans Blix.  I could watch it forever and laugh.

I see this in my law practice here in New Jersey.  Taxicabs, who are on the road constantly and have much greater risks of accidents, are not required to buy anything more than the same policies other people are allowed to buy, so you have taxicabs with $15,000.00 in coverage.

I had a client last year with a catastrophic brain injury from an accident with a Taxi.  She was so injured they couldn't even take her deposition.

There was only $50,000.00 in coverage.

I just listened and it's funnier than the other one!

Sam Jackson owes Charles Ramsey a bunch of money.   He has been copying the guy his whole career!

Tommy De Seno

I will BBQ and listen to salsa with that man some day.  It's now on my bucket list.

I practice Personal Injury (although on my way up like many I did general practice too).

Personal Injury is no longer for the sole practitioner.  Funding the cases has become very expensive and you can't deduct what you put into a case as a business expense while the case is pending.  The IRS considers it a loan to the clients.

For instance, if my firm spends $1 million dollars funding our client's cases this year, it's not a business deduction. We still have to pay taxes on the money.

Also, tort reform has made it so people with injuries the law considers not serious (even though they are) have a tough time winning cases, but we try to serve them anyway.  Lose enough of them and you can put a significant dent in your bottom line (which is why I make it a habit to never lose).

In New Jersey, this has created a Wal-Mart effect.   Larger personal injury firms now have offices in multiple places where they can push out the corner store solo practitioner.

But, there's always room for a good man in any field. It's just harder in my field.

13.  But for some reason I can't explain, I was nervous taking the test.

Instugator: Solid 2.

The facts from a human perspective since we are talking AGW.

World population in 1860 - 1B, urban percentage in 1910 - 20%

World population today - 6B, urban percentage 2008 - >50%

Energy consumption per capita in KG of Coal equivalents. circa 1860 - 100Kg (Total consumption therefore 100B Kg)

Energy consumption per capita in Kg of Coal equivalents circa 2000, 2000 Kg (Total Consumption 12T Kg or a 120X increase in energy usage since 1860).

As mentioned before the total warming effect since 1860 is 1.9C of which .4C is said to be attributable to human activity.

2 things immediately spring to mind -

First is that since a 120X increase in human energy consumption only leads to .4C increase in temperature, one can reasonably conclude that the Global Climate is remarkablyinsensitive to human activity. (Meaning, we have virtually no effect on climate.)

Excellent.

Questions:

What is the standard deviation for global temperature change over any 150 year period?

How accurate are all temperature records going back to 1860?

Tommy De Seno

Denied because no one has shown me temperature changes that fall outside the standard deviation for naturally occurring temperature changes.

Tommy De Seno

Even without religion, it's scientifically settled that the earth won't last forever.

There goes the left - denying science again!

Re: 15?!?

As I'm reading more about this, isn't the Administration's hand being forced here by a Court decision from April 5?  It appears in 2011 Obama did not support such a move.
