The push for female infantry officers is coming from career officers who need combat experience to promote and from politicians; not from these young Marines. I know that you were just making a point but considering the intestinal fortitude it takes to even fail the CET and not DOR makes it pretty unlikely that these Marines will be whining to the senate.

I'd be interested to see where and when the term "high-capacity mag" originated. A military/police issue M9 Beretta has a 15-round clip and somehow in the civilian world this constitutes a high-capacity magazine.

Is it because immigrants can decide that they no longer have to learn English because it is racist to make them learn a foreign tongue; even if their native language is ebonics (Oakland Circa 1996).

Is it because multi-culturalism and diversity of people (not ideas) are automatically "goods" that trump outdated institutions like The Constitution or The Pledge of Allegiance. 

Because if that's what Mr. Lopez means, he's dead on. This is the America we live in today.

Absolutely, if you want to learn your stepson to learn for himself why conservatism works he should either enlist or commission (the way the officer pipeline is currently backed up, he probably won't hit the fleet for another 2+ years). He can learn how change happens because of the strength and professionalism of individual Marines on the ground, not because of bureaucrats removed from the action.

 Will Americans choose this November to resent the rich man for "not paying his fare share" or strive to accomplish what he has. Will they resent the fat man for getting that way at the expense of the thin man.
