Joshua S. Treviño is the Vice President for Communications at the Texas Public Policy Foundation.Before coming to the Foundation, Treviño was the founder and president of Treviño Strategies and Media, where he worked on national and international media campaigns. His experience encompasses work in over thirty countries, speechwriting in the Administration of George W. Bush, and service in the United States Army.

Dave, if you're in Lake Charles, you know almost certainly know the environment at Polk well. And I couldn't agree more -- in a culture where you had to earn the privilege of speaking in complete sentences, being handed the black beret rubbed against everything we were trained to value.
And it didn't shade the eyes worth a dang.
