Thank you for the kind words! We worked really hard on it, it's the least we can do to try and save our future.

This is an excellent idea for a video. I actually made a video debunking what the College Democrats video was saying right after it came out, but YouTube took it down because of copyright issues.  I will try and throw something together.  It would be nice if I was in school still and could interview a lot of people, but I will have to resort to other measures now.  I will pose it as a question on Facebook and in the member feed here. "Why are you a Republican/Conservative?" Take the best answers and read them on camera saying who wrote it and where they are from/what they do. The group I founded connects Young Conservatives all across the country and I think this could be a great idea for a video.  Thanks Lucy and Diane!

We definitely should not rely on the government to step in and legislate this problem away. That would only further the Wussification of America. I would argue that bullies develop because of the lack of strong role model. Real strength is having the ability to control your anger and being humble in the face of adversity. Kids that are being raised by televisions and our music industry are taught that exerting power physically is how you prove you are a man.

I have some pictures of the occupy dartmouth movement that I can post. There are some people in their protest that are partaking in the corporate recruiting process. I agree, I don't think that this email should be used to try to convince the wall street protestors why they desperately need wall street. I think it should be used amongst fellow conservatives to drive home the point that greed, when pursued lawfully, is good for everyone. I certainly won't be sending this to my liberal friends, but mostly to my friends going to work on Wall Street to serve as a reminder of how hard it will prove to be.

I will try and update via phone as much as possible.  I imagine I won't have much of an opportunity from 7-11.  I will probably get a little bit of airtime post-debate to talk about how the debate went and will look for opportunities to give a Ricochet shout-out.

Right after the debate when the candidates get up to shake hands and work the crowd, I will be the one who is a foot taller than everyone else haha.

Joshua Riddle: Now we are too busy with things like Sexperts, Atheists Forums, and countless other examples of this generations moral decay.

So what do we do about these sexperts and atheists? Ideas? · Oct 4 at 9:57pm

The only thing we should 'do' is not give these groups funding from the schools budget.  The school recognizes these groups and helps pay for them to exist.  Everyone obviously has a right to believe whatever they want and do whatever they please with regards to sexual activity.

For the school to promote these groups while ignoring others is wrong in my opinion.

Just bought all my books....from Amazon

Extremely stupid.

Voters care about God because everything we do as humans is a response to how we feel about the Bible.  My pastor at school, the son of Reagan's Surgeon General C. Everette Coop, says how we are all created with a knowledge of God and Jesus, but many of us choose to suppress that truth.  If one believes that statement is accurate, than they must also logically conclude that: If everyone is aware of Truth, than all the decisions we make reflect how we feel about that truth (embracing or suppressing it), including voting.

I took a government class in which we read from the book 'Bo: America's Commander in Leash'.  I have also taken classes from a professor who said he has voted Republican his whole life and worked for Dubya's staff.

Every professor will carry a political bias, but you have to be a special kind of nutjob to have that overshadow your goal to educate students.  It certainly happens, but if a student disagrees with their professor in a respectful manner, I imagine a large majority of professors welcome the discussion as opposed to kids just sucking up and pretending to agree.

If you subscribe to the Michael Savage theory of 'Liberalism as a mental disorder', then that number sounds right.  Maybe even a little bit low for our friends across the pond.

I think a lot of people hold this view who believe that science and religion are a contradiction.  Somehow, because the Republican party has more Christians, they have less individuals who think critically and seriously about the issues.  (The irony that all liberal beliefs are held on emotional utopian grounds gets particularly thick here).

To anyone who is interested I would strongly recommend Think by John Piper.

A cool short video about his book can be seen here >>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3F1V2fZS7yA

Ya, it's pretty clear Obama knows very little about America's past time.

This is desperately needed at Dartmouth.

Thinking of the clips wasn't too bad, in fact, it was a really fun process!  When I watched the original clip they just immediately came to mind.  The hard part was having to find them (mostly ripped them off YouTube), edit them, and make the video using this very standard editing program on my computer.  So it was a bummer I couldn't throw some better effects and transitions into this one, but I wanted to release it while it was still fresh.  I think the simplicity of it helps add the comedic value a little bit though.

My partner Dave has the editing software we use on his computer and he is in Rhode Island while I am in DC.  He is finishing up the final touches on our Powerline Debt Crisis video which I am really excited about!
