I don't think he was so wishy washy on the subject.  He probably could have used a different analogy than 'foul ball' but he did use the word 'strikeout' near the end; which it is.  Strike and you are out.

Claire, Do we have sluts in this country.  What would you call a woman who goes out on a weekend night and has prepaired in advance to maybe have sex for, lets say, for entertainment, for fun.
