I know I am not welcome back in Melbourne.

It might be another RT/Russia Today (funded by the Russian Government via the Federal Agency on Press and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation) - Not a significant ratings network on US Cable.

I understand that this is a business at the end of the day, but it has a non-profit mentality.  Having worked at non-profits, the people who believe in the cause the most, are usually the ones that keep it going.  With that in mind, that is why Ricochet will survive.

This is only a small thing, but I just heard the most recent Podcast where Peter mentioned (allow me to paraphrase) "Most people are just over politics after the last election, even the type of people who live and breath politics".

I too have been "Over Politics", even questioning my sanity as a result.  Without Ricochet, I would not have had this reassurance or 'word on the street' knowledge that this site/podcast offers.

One of the other aspects about the rise in interest in Secession, is that is runs the risk of being a "All Talk No Action" group, like the Tea Party or John Birchers.

If he does another Town Hall event, it will be a certain sign of procrastination.

I too couldn't sleep, so I started to research on relocating to Texas.

This has finally beaten Carly Fiorina's 'Demon Sheep' as the worst political ad ever.

That's true Ferguson, but Team Santorum sure spent a lot on Etch-a-Sketchs props for that stunt.

flownover: Am I clicking on the right thing ?

Your link was going to show us some old photos, but instead we are treated to a WaPo hit piece . Thanks, but no thanks. Sorry, but if there were pictures in there somewhere, the odious junk on page one prevented me from going any further .

That was my error - I have added the link to VF - That's wasn't my intention to support the motley bunch of WaPo.

This format was always  going to help Obama, he has used rhetoric during town halls for years in office, and also needed to improve on his last performance.     The last debate will be held under the same format that sunk him the 1st time.  The proof will be, take away the crowds, and Obama is an empty chair.

It was like NPR supplied the Audience and Questions tonight.

Engels would have found another stooge to collaborate with.

I think my comparison was on the mark.

Somewhere this weekend in a Dinner Party, a bunch of ABC Radio (Australia) loving Green Party types are drinking White Wines and agreeing with the actions of these protesters, and understand them more than they do.

This is almost akin to the Communisants (Those that do not belong to the party (Communist), but whose sympathies are with the Soviet World) a term used by Raymond Aron.  These types that are sold on the argument, yet have no investment in understanding the mentality.

This mentality is becoming the real victory for Islam over Western cultures, that's how it's capable of forcing the practitioners of politically correctness to double think their own freedoms, and use social censorship into corralling themselves into group-think by adopting Islamic sensibilities.

As long as this tendency of sympathy resides in the influential citizenry populist, the more chance of the suppression of logic will continue in the West.

Showing a slide show of Romney/Ryan images (in between speakers) so they can serve as a exercise in Two Minute Hate. Thereby keeping the attendees focused on the main concern for Democrats, which is Romney pointing out Obama's problems.

I seem to recall the report saying that the rain damaged the right side of the sand sculpture.
