Ah yes, the memories of the day I was banned.  I think my comment was along the lines of:  "Global warming. Right-wing exteremism. Christian bogeymen. Lather. Rinse. Repeat."  It's true, though, we never really saw the true CJ.  He may have also got a little askeered that his Jihad-smack might be hazardous to his health.

Agree 100% with Mollie on the soap thing.  In our quixotic attempt to sterilize ourselves, the bacteria always win.  Hence, superbugs resistant to our best antibiotics.  You know how doctors are always squirting that foam Steris on their hands from those dispensers on the wall?  Do not do the same.  Only the nastiest stuff lives on the tip of those things.

This is outrageous.  Listen, there may be a reasonable point in which a doctor might want to bring up the subject of guns/weapons with a patient or their guardians.  The combination of mental illness and the prescribing of powerful medicines might be one of them.  But, this idiotic TSA-style one-size-fits-all approach won't do a damn thing, notwithstanding the serious privacy issues involved.  I, for one, will not be participating in such surveys.

I'd almost forgotten about St. P...    Nope. Not gonna do it.  All former membes of LGF 1.0 know where this is going.

I figured that since I was paying to join a club with a Code of Conduct, the right thing to do would be to use my real name.  I used to use "Capt. Queeg" over at the Website That Shall Not Be Named. Why? No reason.

Has a very Gothic-era feel to it.

First song/album:  Probably The Cars debut album

Dancing song: Disco Inferno by the Trammps

Song from childhood: The album "Tapestry" by Carole King

Perfect love song: "The Water is Wide" as sung by Karla Bonoff

Funeral song:  Probably a playlist that would drive my mourners nuts that would include "April Joy" by Pat Metheny, "Rockport Sunday" by Tom Rush, and "Who Knows Where the Time Goes?" by Sandy Denny

Another defining song: "The Fire Inside" by Bob Seger

I love listening to Mollie's laugh.  There I said it.
