Anytime I agree to acquire a given item or service at a specific price, I would say that is a fair exchange. 

As long as medicare and medicaid exists I doubt if anyone really knows the true costs of non elective procedures. 

Is the "fair price" for a routine c-section a function of what it cost or what the patient can pay?

The price of health:  exercise regularly, avoid fatty processed foods, alcohol, cigarettes and stress. Get and stay married.

I've decided to take the position that Mitt is the perfect man for the job. His support is lukewarm, many voters will not be invested in him. Once he is no longer the anti-obama, Romney will lose some momentum. With little to lose Mitt can (please I hope) begin reforming entitlements and gov employees; Generating a backlash to painful cuts (which need to happen) a guy like Daniels or Ryan can run against Mitt if his methods are considered too severe.

Mitt takes the hit for proposing reductions then Ryan or Daniels or Lileks can rescue the situation by a more attractive reduction scheme.

I listened to Klaven and those guys talking about writing fiction so I just gave it a try.

I do NOT believe he fathered all those children. I suspect local welfare rules require a father be identified and the community organized an employed volunteer to prime the entitlement pump.

I'd rather believe in welfare fraud than believe that perhaps 11 women exist in the U.S.A. that would allow themselves to be impregnated multiple times by this individual.
